TEXTURED CUP COZY DUO PATTERN! 2 in 1!

I don’t know about you but I love my coffee and most of the people in my life run on coffee as much as I do. When I am not making my coffee at home and need a cup with two expresso shots, I treat myself and go to my favorite coffee shop to pick up a nice Grande sized cup of Holiday flavors!

The cup cozy sleeves have been around for a long time and are popular because they are reusable! Yes! They can be used over and over, maybe even have a collection of different colors that fit the day’s mood.

This yarn I used is in the color Honey by Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice line. To be honest it was in my stash and it looked so pretty for fall!

I know I will for sure be making a few more for teachers!

Materials

  • H 5.00mm crochet hook
  • 4 – Medium yarn

I used Lion Brand Vanna’s choice in Honey

  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape – to measure when reached length needed
  • Stitch marker (optional)

Abbreviations

Stitches:
CH – chain
ST – stitch (stitch space)
SlSt – slip stitch
HDC – half double crochet

Other:

F.O: fasten off

Notes:

  • Chain 2 at the beginning of each Row DOES NOT count as a stitch.
  • You will always HDC in the previous HDC’s and Sl St in the previous Sl St’s and end in sl st every time.
  • Stitch markers are optional but useful when working with sl st’s on the ends.
  • I have a tight tension when I crochet but I try and keep my stitches loose when it comes to making a sl st. Helps to work a little easier in the next row.
  • Using different yarn weights may alter the size of the pattern. If you wish to make it less or more in width just make sure you have odd-numbered stitches so you always begin and end with a Sl St to keep the edges nice and straight.
